Certification

Certification exam for associate-level Application Security

Cloudflare will offer the first recognized certification exam for associate-level Application Security. Attendees may register in advance to sit for the exam in a private, quiet environment with live proctoring.

To allow for maximum flexibility, Cloudflare will offer multiple sessions during Monday and Tuesday for candidates to take the exam.

Full-day, instructor-led training sessions, including one certification.

Training sessions will be offered on Monday, October 13, 2025. The one-time University Pass add-on cost is $495*. Laptops are required for participation.

Training sessions will focus on Cloudflare’s Application Security and Developer Platform. Please review the course descriptions for details on each course.

Training sessions provide valuable insight, but the exam is designed to assess your hands-on knowledge. We recommend prior experience with Cloudflare’s Application Security tools. We’ll share more preparation resources for the exam before the event.

Getting a Cloudflare Certification demonstrates your knowledge and skills, as well as showing that you’re committed to self-development. You can show off this recognition to your employer, on your resume, and on LinkedIn.

Yes. The University Pass includes both training and one exam attempt. If you're only interested in certification, we recommend you wait to take the standalone exam after Connect (offered as a paid option at a later date).

No. The University Pass is required for access to both training sessions and the on-site certification exam.

You'll need to bring your own laptop and power adapter. Exam sessions will be proctored, and registration for specific time slots will open before Connect.

You can retake the exam at a later date by purchasing a separate exam session. Retake fees are not included in the University Pass.
